Renfrew Power Generation Inc. owns and operates two, run of the river, one megawatt generating plants in the Town of Renfrew. It also owns and operates three control dams on three reservoir lakes consisting of Round Lake, Golden Lake and Lake Clear in the County of Renfrew.

Renfrew is a community of 8,000 residents and is the commercial hub of the area, serving a rural and small town population base of over 30,000 in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
