Vornweg Waterpower operates a "Run-of-the-River" power generation operation in the Old Killaloe Mill on Brennan's Creek.
The mill was built in 1876 as a Flour and Planning Mill. In 1991, a turbine and 50 Kw generator was installed.
Vornweg Waterpower participated in the development of the Bonnechere River Water Management Plan and remain active contributors. Additionally, they actively support the Bonnechere River Watershed Project.
Petra and Andreas Vornweg, together with their family, live in the renovated mill. They produce electricity for their own use and sell the excess power to the grid.
The Vornweg's primary business is Bonnechere Valley Windows, an Eganville based manufacturer of custom vinyl windows and doors.
